Nazca Lines

The Nazca Lines are a collection of huge geoglyphs - designs of motifs etched into the ground which is located in the Preuvian coastal plain about 250 miles south of Lima, Peru. Created by the ancient Nazca culture in South America, and depicting various plants, animals, and shapes, the 2,000 year old Nazca Lines can only be fully appreciated when viewed from the air given their massive size. There Lines were drawn by removing the pabbles on the dry ground and exposing the white ground. People have studied why they wrote it that for over 80 years but it has not been investigated in detail.

In my opinion, they must have told something that their symbol because there was no other way to write that and it costs no money. Also they might have risked their life to write it.
